You can use it in pastas, on sandwiches, in stir-fry or on your salads. Change your seasonings to suite your taste.
Drain and squeeze excess water from the tofu by hand. Remove as much water as possible by wrapping the tofu in a cloth or paper towels and placing a heavy object, such as a heavy skillet, pot or heavy can of beans, on top for 15-30 minutes. Cut tofu into ½” slabs or cubes.
Heat the oil in a nonstick skillet to medium. Add tofu and salt. Cook until golden brown on one side and then flip. Cooking takes about 10 minutes. Add sauce of choice and continue cooking until the sauce evaporates and the tofu is glazed. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper as desired and serve.
