Vegan Sesame Sauce

This is really good on any grain or rice.

  • 3 ounces silken tofu
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped or 3 cloves roasted garlic
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon roasted sesame oil
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, for spice
  • ½ teaspoon salt 
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped    

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until well combined. Use water to thin to the desired consistency. Taste for salt and seasonings. More lemon juice can be added if desired. Serve room temperature. Keep leftovers in the refrigerator.
